Why I Started Leg It
I'm Lauren. I'm 32, a single mum, and someone who always knew she was destined for more.
A few years ago, I was struggling with crippling mental health. I didn't know where to turn, so one day, I just went outside and legged it.
That run changed everything.
Running saved me. It gave me clarity, strength, and a community I never expected. Now I'm raising my daughter to know that physical and mental health go hand in hand, and that you should always do the hard thing, even when every part of you doesn't want to.
Leg It started as one person running to survive. It became a movement. A community of people who've found lifelong friendships through the simple act of putting one foot in front of the other.
I spent my whole career in hospitality, working hard for someone else's dream. I knew I didn't want that life for my daughter. So I decided to build something of my own, from the ground up.
This is just the beginning.
